Teamwork - Conflict Study

What is this study about: Investigators from the University of Pittsburgh Department
of Emergency Medicine and Center for Emergency Medicine of Western Pennsylvania
Inc seek to conduct a research project to develop a measure of teamwork and
conflict for EMS shiftwork.

The investigative team is led by
 Dr. Patterson and includes experts in the measurement of teamwork and conflict:
Dr. Eduardo Salas, Michael Rosen, and Sallie Weaver of the University of
Central Florida, Dr. Laurie Weingart and Gergana Todorova of Carnegie Mellon
University. Support for this study comes in part from Grant Number 05 KL2
RR024154-04 from the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), a component
of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and NIH Roadmap for Medical
Research.

Phase I of this project is complete. 

A manuscript describing the
study's findings will appear in the January issue of Prehospital Emergency
